Chapter Delays on "We Are Dragons"

Due to editing and rewriting taking more time, the next update for "We Are Dragons" will be delayed for about 2-3 weeks.

October Edit: This didn't age well.

Pilot chapter for an original story

Below I have linked the first chapter of a story that came to me in a dream. Set in the fictional city of Santa Josina, two girls are swept up in a battle between angels and demons. I wanted to post the synopsis and first chapter to get a feel for whether this idea is something readers would be interested in.

    Lesson 8: Outlines

This lesson is going to be a little different as it’ll consist of more technical examples or demonstrations rather than the usual explanations. We will begin with a general overview and some statements on goals and focus, but for the most part, this lesson is going to focus on tools you can use for outlining.

Lesson 7: Setting and Worldbuilding (Part 2)

No time for introductions, we’re getting right into the swing of things from where we left off from part one.

    Our Orcs Are Different

The “Our Orcs Are Different” trope highlights that in fantasy media, orcs have become kind of a staple fictional race, sarcastically calling them “different” when in reality, the audience kind of already knows an orc when they see one.

A copy-pasted forum post so I don't have to track it down in a week or two · 3:08am May 7th, 2021

Although I do not consider myself an artist, there are some drawings of mine that people seem to think are kind of good. I have listed some of them below. This is a general summary of my current artistic skills. And while I'm not comfortable accepting commissions for my own financial benefit, as I believe it would be unethical to charge my unreliable quality of work, this is a little different.

Outside of FimFiction, I am assisting in a fundraiser of Feeding America, an organization that distributes fresh meals to families in need across the United States. They do this through food rescue programs, taking food that would be thrown away by producers and retailers and sending them to hundreds of charities and food pantries (https://www.feedingamerica.org/).

I have had some people ask for art commissions before, so I was thinking of asking all of you to help me donate to Feeding America by rewarding donations with art. I think this is a nice way to split the difference, providing a service to our community while helping to feed people in the United States. But before I do that, I need to know how much people would be willing to pay for my art. Though donations would be done voluntarily out of goodwill, I also don't want donators to feel disappointed in what they get.

So, here are the best original pieces I have done. Do as Applejack would and give your honest opinion.
