What if the MLP Movie's climax was like this? · 11:51am Apr 20th, 2021
I know this isn't what happened in the MLP movie, but this is my alternate take on the movie's climax, making it more darker and emotional, and is inspired by "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker".
Also in this take is a character not seen in the movie, Jawn. He is an advanced storm creature who accompanies Tempest/Fizzlepop on capturing Twilight, and is deemed a close friend to her.
After Twilight saves Tempest from being sucked into the tornado, the Storm King is about to fire his staff on them.
"See ya!" The Storm King laughed evilly.
"NOOOOOO!!!!!!" Jawn screamed, as he slides in front of Twilight and Tempest, just before the Storm King fires his staff, and he takes the fall. Jawn slowly looks up at the two ponies, breathing heavily.
"Jawn?!" The Storm King said in shock, then he turns angry, grabs Jawn's neck and holds him up, choking him. "Such a disappointment!" He throws Jawn into the tornado, who screams.
"JAAAAWN!!!!" Tempest screamed.
"RUN!!" Twilight said, as she and Tempest start escaping.
"YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!" The Storm King said, and he uses the staff to bring down a huge pile of debris ahead of Twilight and Tempest, blocking the door and trapping them.
"NO!!" Twilight said, as she and Tempest turn to face the Storm King in horror.
The Storm King uses the staff to incapacitate Twilight and Tempest, and he breaks Tempest's armor.
"What are you doing?!" Tempest said, struggling.
"You know what's better with a broken horn?" The Storm King said. "NO MAGIC!"
(Stand together, die together!)
The Storm King uses the staff to steal Tempest's unstable magic and weaken her and Twilight, who scream in pain. He then becomes enhanced, with the ability to hover and use the magic from the staff with his hands. Twilight and Tempest are laid on the floor, weakened and powerless, and they look at each other.
"Tempest..." Twilight said.
"Twilight..." Tempest said.
"I've waited too long for this." The Storm King said. "Only now have you two revealed the power of one true king." He uses the magic from his hands to pull Twilight away from Tempest.
(Look what you have made.)
"No... Stop!" Twilight said, scared as she tries to break free, but fails. "Tempest! Tempest!"
"Sire, no!" Tempest said. "Let her go!"
The Storm King grabs Twilight and holds her hostage.
"Help me!" Twilight said.
"Please! She's just a kid!" Tempest said, and the Storm King holds her in the air with his magic, and brings her towards him.
"Aww, isn't that cute." The Storm King said. "I'm glad that I've used you. And now that I have what I want, Equestria will fall!"
"NO!" Tempest said.
"And so will... Fizzlepop Berrytwist!" The Storm King said, and he throws Tempest away.
(As once I fell, so falls the last Skywalker.)
"NO!!!" Twilight screamed.
Twilight's friends appear from the clouds and land in the castle, but they see her getting taken away.
"GUYS!!!" Twilight said.
"TWILIGHT!" Pinkie said, as she and the others try and reach her, but it was too late. The Storm King hovers into the storm and takes Twilight with him. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"
Inside the storm, the Storm King builds a platform with his magic. "Why don't you enjoy the show, puny princess?" He said, and he throws Twilight onto the platform. "So much power! So much DESTRUCTION! NOTHING WILL STOP THE POWER OF THE STORM!!!"
(Do not fear that feeble attack, my faithful. NOTHING WILL STOP THE RETURN OF THE SITH!!!)
The Storm King makes the storm even more dangerous, causing the tornado to grow even bigger.
"RUN!!" Applejack said, as she and the others try to get away, but Pinkie gets caught by the strong force of the tornado and is being sucked in. She grabs hold onto the end of a carpet.
"HELP!!!" Pinkie said.
"PINKIE!!" Rainbow said.
"HEEEEELP!!!!" Pinkie screamed.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Rainbow screamed, as she quickly grabs Pinkie, but she gets caught as well. One by one, the others grab hold of each other. "HOLD OOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!"
At the entrance of Canterlot, Skystar, Novo, Capper, Celaeno and her crew are evacuating the ponies from the tornado, but Songbird Serenade gets caught by the force of the tornado and screams.
"NOOOO!!!!" Skystar screamed, as she quickly grabs hold of Songbird's hoof. "MOOOOOM!!!!"
Novo gasps, and she quickly grabs hold of her daughter. "HOLD ON, SKYSTAR!!" She said, and Capper grabs hold of her hoof, and Celaeno grabs hold of his leg.
"I NEED... MORE GRIP!!" Celaeno said, as she detaches her crystal leg, stabs it into the ground and holds onto it.
"CAPTAIN!!!" Boyle said.
Tempest's rift gets sucked into the tornado and explodes.
In the castle, Tempest opens her eyes and sees Twilight's friends hanging on for dear life. She then has a flashback to her childhood. "What have I done...?" She said.
As soon as Applejack, the one at the end of the chain, is getting sucked in, Tempest quickly grabs hold of her and the entire chain.
"HANG ON!!" Tempest grunted.
(R2, my systems are failing! Does anyone copy!?)
Back inside the storm, the Storm King laughs evilly as he continues powering it.
Twilight looks up at the stars through the dark clouds whilst laying on the floor. "Be with me... Be with me... Be with me..." She said, whimpering in tears.
"Twilight." A voice said.
"Twilight." Another voice said.
More voices say 'Twilight' as Twilight opens her eyes and sees the stars glowing.
"These are your final steps, Twilight. Rise, and take them."
"Bring back the magic, Twilight, as we did."
"In the night, find the light, Twilight."
"You're not alone, Twilight, and you never will be."
"The magic surrounds you, Princess."
"Let it guide you, as it guided us."
"Feel the magic flowing through you, little one."
"Let it lift you."
"We stand behind you, Twilight."
"In the heart of a princess, lies her strength."
"Rise in the magic."
Encouraged by their voices, Twilight slowly gets up, grunting whilst regaining her strength, and she gains all of the magic from them.
"You are more than you'll ever be."
"Rise, Twilight."
"Open up your eyes, Princess, and rise."
"Rise."
"Twilight, the magic will be with you. Always."
"Rise." All of the voices said altogether.
Twilight finally stands up, glows her magic and spreads her wings, alerting the Storm King, who stops powering the storm. The ponies from the stars appear behind Twilight as ghosts. Twilight gives the Storm King an angry look and her horn sparkles.
"Let your death be the final moment in the story of Equestria." The Storm King said. He raises his hands and unleashes a streak of lightning at Twilight, who fires back with her own streak of lightning from her horn, bringing both of their lightning powers in the middle.
Back down on Canterlot, the storm weakens and weakens as the tornado vanishes. At the city's entrance, Celaeno pulls the chain of Songbird, Skystar, Novo and Capper away and back onto the ground. In the castle, Tempest pulls Twilight's friends away and back onto the floor. They all look up at the clouds, seeing Twilight and the Storm King fighting.
(NO!! PHIN, DON'T LOOK!!!)
"Twilight..." Pinkie said with worry.
(I'm back on! This is our last chance, we gotta hit those cannons NOW!)
In the storm, Twilight and the Storm King's lightning powers are still in the middle.
"YOU ARE NOTHING!! A princess without friends is no match for the power in me!" The Storm King said angrily, as he fires harder and harder. "I AM ALL OF THE STORM!!!"
"AND I..." Twilight said, straining. Her cutie mark starts glowing and she is about to unleash the biggest blow. She looks up at the Storm King. "...am all of friendship." She said proudly.
Twilight fires harder and harder than the Storm King, and with the aid of the ghosts behind her, she brings her lightning streak closer to him. The strong magic from Twilight reaches the Storm King, and he screams in absolute agony. Twilight screams in absolute anger and vaporizes the Storm King, killing him and freeing the staff. Twilight and the staff are blown away from the vanishing storm and they fall from the sky. The storm completely vanishes and blows Tempest, Twilight's friends and the others away.
Twilight and the staff are laid on the damaged ground in the wrecked city. Twilight weakly gets up and tries to reach the staff. In the castle, Twilight's friends and Tempest regain consciousness as Applejack coughs. Pinkie and the others run up to the destroyed balcony and look down on Twilight, who collapses to the ground with her eyes closed. Pinkie gasps, and Twilight takes her last breath and dies.
"No..." Pinkie said, crying. "No, no, Twilight...!"
The others begin crying as well.
"Noooooo!" Spike said.
"She's gone!" Rarity said.
Spike and the girls hug each other whilst sobbing in tears and mourning the death of Twilight, completely heartbroken. Tempest feels very guilty of what happened and sheds a tear.
The others at the entrance feel Twilight's death, and Novo comforts a sobbing Skystar. The sky pirates take off their hats and bandanas and mourn over Twilight's loss.
"No, Twilight..." Starlight said in tears.
When it seems that everything is lost forever, a weakened and battle-damaged Jawn appears from a pile of debris and sees Twilight's dead body. He gets out of the debris and falls. He gets up and walks over to Twilight before falling again in pain. He tires and eventually can only pull himself with his arms. He looks over Twilight and hugs her, sobbing. Realizing that Twilight should be the one to live, Jawn lays her body and activates the last of his resurrection powers. He takes a deep breath, and, with a loud cry, punches Twilight's body to revive her at the cost of his own life. Twilight's friends and Tempest are alerted by this and see Jawn reviving Twilight, and Twilight is finally revived, gasping for air and breathing heavily. She and Jawn look at each other.
"Jawn...!" Twilight said, smiling as she is surprised that he saved her.
Jawn chuckles and gives a warm smile. They hug, but Jawn takes his last breath, collapses to the ground whilst hugging Twilight and dies. Twilight is shocked and cries softly over him, and she touches his face.
"Twilight?" Fluttershy said.
Twilight is alerted by her friends and she sees them. "Girls...? Pinkie!" She said.
"Twilight!" Pinkie said, as she and the others hug Twilight, all crying in the process.
"Oh, Pinkie..." Twilight said, whimpering.
"I thought we lost you!" Pinkie said.
"I don't hate you, I love you." Twilight said, as Pinkie continues crying. "I love all of you."
"We love you too, Twilight..." Applejack said.
"I'm so sorry..." Twilight said.
"I'm sorry, too..." Pinkie said.
"I was wrong to say those things at you." Twilight said.
"Friends mess up sometimes, but we never should've abandoned you." Pinkie said.
"Still together?" Twilight said.
"Always together." Pinkie said, nodding.
Spike looks at Jawn's dead body. "Hey... Twilight, did he...?" He said, as the girls also look at Jawn.
"He saved me." Twilight said.
Rainbow sniffles. "I can't believe he did that." She said.
"I can." Tempest said, as she walks up to them, smiling.
"Tempest, I... I'm sorry. He-" Twilight said.
"No... It's okay." Tempest said. "And I'm sorry for everything."
Spike and the girls smile at her, but they then look at all the destruction around the city.
"Now what?" Fluttershy said.
Tempest picks up the staff. "Twilight... It's time." She said.
Twilight takes hold of the staff and uses it to bring her, her friends and Tempest back into the castle. Twilight puts the staff in the middle where the Storm King placed in the first place, causing Celestia, Luna and Cadance to be revived, all the magic returned to them, Twilight and Tempest, and everything that was damaged to be fixed.
Celestia gasps. "Twilight!" She said.
"Princesses! Oh!" Twilight said, as she and her friends hug them altogether. Tempest watches them with a warm smile.
I would have enjoyed the movie alot more honestly.
But sadly they shafted the sisters(hurts alot for Luna's case) so horribly there.
I mean, Luna could have escaped and had a actual role but instead the writers pulled out all the stops to ensure all princesses not named "Twilight chosen one Sparkle" gets taken out and look like massive failures.

Ah, I see. I would've preferred it if Grubber wasn't joking a lot like he did, as well as the Mane Six and Tempest fighting off against the Storm King in the climax (if my idea wouldn't work).
