...meh.
Okay, so it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I was extremely cynical about it ever since I first heard the synposes, to the point where at first I was in denial, and I almost decided not to watch it at all. But ultimately I knew there would be no way to avoid seeing references to it throughout the fandom since every new episode, good or bad, spreads like a cancer. I guess it's true: pessimists can only be eithe pleasantly surprised or proven correct. Luckily it was the former this time, if only somewhat. It certainly could've been MUCH worse. And there were some quite enjoyable moments.
That said, it also could have been a lot better. And I didn't especially like it either. I just still much prefer some of the many fanfics out there that I've read about Trixie's return. Heh, in fact lately it seems I enjoy certain fanworks a lot more than canon stuff, especially in season 3. (One Bad Apple was pretty great though. <3)
The frustrating thing is that it seems most of my opinions on things are directly opposite the rest of the fandom anymore. <.< I bet most of the other members of this site are practically worshipping the new episode and I won't heard the end of it for a while. ~.~
