Saturday, Saturday, Saturday. · 4:20pm Dec 1st, 2012
Sup guys.
A fun thing about being a kid was always Saturday mornings. In my case, it was usually spent murdering a plate of eggs and toast while watching whatever cartoons happened to be on followed by a session of halfheartedly listen to MTV's musical selections. Yes, I can actually remember why they called it "Music Television". "Headbanger's Ball" FTW!
Aside from the fact I feel ridiculously old now, what I miss the most is being a procrastinating twit and doing whatever the hell I wanted when I wanted. Now, dirty words like "weekend warrior shift" and "pay differential" occupy my thoughts. As I write this, I'm slamming the last of my coffee and feeling rushed because I have to be to work in an hour. Ugh.
In any case, Chapter 6 of "What The Night Remembers" should drop on Tuesday or Wednesday. The chapter is a little more interesting to write then the others and I want to make sure it comes across correctly.
Here's a preview and don't read too much into it:
Luna breathed out a tremendous sigh as she looked towards Applejack. Her expression was caught somewhere between relief and shock.
"What did ya do?" Applejack asked, hissing a bit.
"I know not," Luna admitted while she shook her head, "Though I hope it won't involve chiding from my sister and a dramatic revelation that I'd rather not hear."
"Lovely," Applejack muttered.
.....
"Oh, Ah ain't forgivin' you yet," Applejack evenly spoke before taking a small sip of her drink.
"You won't let me live this down, will you."
"Not a chance, sugarcube."
"How long, dare I ask?" Luna asked after an audible gulp.
"Well, from what you were sayin' might have happened, Ah might just torture ya for years."
"Might I perhaps lessen the time in some fashion?"
"Ah might think a few ways as long as the rabbit in your head agrees to it," Applejack finished with a bit of a smile.
In addition, I've got a couple of one-shots in the pipe that may workout. We'll see what happens.
ONWARD!
