If you like your story

Yeah, know what's interesting? I've found out that if you don't like the story you're writing more than likely you're not going to finish it. I've had that problem with a few of my stories when I got back into writing. I'm wondering if that's the case with other writers that cancel their stories. All too often I've seen stories that are canceled that are actually good reads.

So I wonder when I read those stories, that well maybe they decided that they didn't like what they were writing and canceled it?

What do you think? Is that the reason why a writer would cancel their stories? Or is it something else?
