Kage Umbra and Drakal enter an abandoned church and they discover a figure under a red sheet.
“Talk, and if you are wasting our time..” Kage started, before the figure cut him off.
“Did you know this church is in the exact center of the city? The elders decreed it so that everyone could be equally close to God.” He said, chuckling a little. “I like that. The geometry of belief.”
He turns to Kage. “You're probably wondering why you can't look inside my head.”
“Well, sometimes, it's hard to do.. but sooner or later, every person reveals themselves,” Kage says.
The figure stands up, taking the sheet off of him, revealing his appearance to be Glirus and the brothers look shocked.
“Oh, I'm sure they do. But you needed something more than a person. That's why you let them take the scroll.”
Kage shrugged. “I didn't expect it, but I saw Korra’s fear. I knew it would control her. Cause her self-harm.”
“Everyone creates the thing they dread,” Glirus sighs. “Men of peace create weapons of war. Raiders create vigilantes. Heck, people create.. what, smaller people?”
He then snaps his fingers to try to remember. “Um.. ah! ‘Children.’ I lost the word, there.” He finally said, while chuckling a little bit. “Children.. designed to supplant them, to help them.. end.”
“Is that why you've come?” Drakal asked. “To end the Guardians? To wipe out every human and pony?”
“I've come to save the world,” Glirus said, “but yeah, pretty much.”
