New content soon-ish

I will try to get at least a few chapters for Umbral Souls out this month.

Sorry for those more interested in EG:DM, but that story is, by all definitions, cancelled. Once more, I'm sorry, but the source material for it has gotten so vomit-inducingly wretched that I simply can't.

Thing is; fantasy has always been more my forte: I'm a huge fan of series like Dungeons and Dragons/Baldur's Gate/Forgotten Realms, the Elder Scrolls, the Soulsborne series of games, and recently became enamored by the lore aspects of Warhammer (Fantasy and 40K). The original idea for writing on FimFiction was as a mode of therapy to get over a mental breakdown I had in 2017 before I had even graduated from my master's years at university (a place I didn't choose willingly I might add) that left me incapable of writing for a long time.

I do have myself to blame that I basically stumbled upon another YGO crossover by my friend DrakeyC and he sort of reignited my interest to put my own spin on the crossover. But like me, this dude hates, and I do mean hates, the current path of the franchise himself. I only met him recently on Discord, and this man has become very much a creative consultant for me and a good friend. Even by the wisdom of him and some other associates: I should not try to push any further with something I clearly do not enjoy.

Point being: I need to get back to my roots: Umbral Souls is meant to be a self-contained story that I simply wish to finish now as I get back to working on original written works, on top of this new project that veers away from my regular mode of writing and provides an opportunity to wipe the dust off my script-writing skills.

So to reiterate: Equestria Girls: Duel Monster is not, repeat; NOT resuming. In fact, one of my associates is working on a much more ambitious project of a similar making, of which I serve as an artist and proofreader. Just be on the lookout for Dueling Dimensions.
