I got off work early and started writing for a bit.
Short story: I took a typing course in high school. I got pretty good at it. My WPM is around 70 still, and I think that's alright.
Plot twist, I just took a test and it's closer to 60.
That's not much of a story.
Moving on. For some reason, there's a bit of a disconnect in my brain about the speed at which work can be done. Logically, I can write 3,600 words in an hour. In reality, I just spent four hours writing a little over 2,000.
I'm not upset about this or anything, I actually enjoy writing recreationally. It's relaxing.
But man.
