Twelve years since FiM premiered for the first time and the fandom is still alive. That's just awesome.

Ok, something is up right now. A few months ago, a neighboring MP company just returned stateside from Afghanistan. During their combat tour, they were wearing Multicam pattern uniforms and gear. In my story -"Assist, Protect, Defend... Equestria?"- Should my character be wearing ACU or Multicam? I'll be honest with you,... I've been aware that Army has been switching from ACU to Multicam for soldiers downrange, but I'm actually pretty confused right now!
I would go with what ever you think is best. I'm not sure but I believe multicam is more a forest color and is what is worn as fatigues and such where acu is more in the fight. Gi with acu makes it seem like he is in the field. Or was at least.

Well... I'm starting to lean on Multicam now.... While working earlier, I asked my partner from a different MP company (the one in question) the same question. He said that most, if not all, Army units downrange have been wearing Multicam for at least two years now. His first deployment with a different unit, ACU. The second deployment with his current unit, Multicam.
I just want to be up-to-date with this information before I do anything with my story.
