Unsurprisingly though, the Republicans (with at lest one exception) are already calling for her seat to be filled. More proof that they're the very Embodiment of hypocrisy. Back in February 2016, the Republicans in the Senate absolutely would not even entertain the possibility having a hearing about filling a vacancy in SCOTUS. They claimed that with it being an election year it would be improper to hold hearings until after the next president was in office. The Republicans are just proving that the real reason was because they're just like our current Resident Chump (no that's not a spelling error), meaning they are Bigots and Racists. Thankfully there're a few exceptions, but not many.
Ruth Bater Ginsburg hadn't even been gone for 5 hours before Mitch McConnell and Chump released statements that said they were hypocritical @$$holes who wouldn't even consider the last wish of probably the most influential jurist in history, definitely in modern history.
Look let's say, Celestia help us, Chump is reelected than why can't he wait till January? They told Obama he couldn't, despite 9 months approximately till the election and almost a year left in his presidency. Yet with less than 50 days until the election, the Republicans will be pushing through the biggest most controversial appointment ever. No matter who the Resident Chump nominates.
