Something That's Bothered Me.

Why is it that people think Luster Dawn is Starlight and Sunburst's daughter? I get it, similar colors, but it still doesn't make any sense to me. And my reasons? It's in the very same finale that started the theory. So when Luster meets with Twilight, she basically says, "lol, what's the point of friendship? Is it really that great?" I paraphrased the crap out of that, but that line alone is pretty sus (oh God I just had nam flashbacks of my last game of Among Us) and here's why. If Luster was a product of StarBurst, wouldn't Starlight tell Luster Dawn stories about how friendship helped her overcome her past? How the friendship Twilight taught her helped rekindle her relationship with Sunburst, Luster's father? How the mane six and even Starlight herself saved Equestria multiple times from destruction by using the magic of friendship? I'd think that the moment Luster said that "friendship is a joke" to Starlight, she'd have her daughter straightened out before lunch.

Then during the song, "How the Magic of Friendship Grows," the mane six sing "This is where the magic happened," and give Luster a tour around Ponyville, including Sweet Apple Acres, Fluttershy's animal sanctuary, Sugarcube Corner and the School of Friendship, implying that this is the first time Luster has ever been there and that they're showing her that all of the events of MLP started in this small corner of Equestria. If Luster was Starlight and Sunburst's daughter, wouldn't she already be familiar with the town? If you've lived in Ponyville for more than, like, two day's you'd be familiar with Sweet Apple Acres and Sugarcube Corner (Pinkie would throw a party for you the first chance she got) and know at least four out of the mane six? (five if she met Rarity before she started running around Equestria managing her fashion empire, which is a possibility).

Over all, I'm not convinced. If you believe/think that Luster Dawn is a StarBurst baby, good on ya. God speed and more power to ya. I'm not saying you can't think/believe that, I'm just saying I don't dig it... and because I'm a hardcore Starlight X Trixie shipper, not to say I'm biased or anything.
