So basically there was a campaign against President Trump on social media, most likely by Biden supporters and legacy media pundits, trying to make the case that "Trump knew about the virus and did nothing about it". What a bunch of goddamn horse shit. I've been following this since January and China knew about the virus escaping since October last year. Trump actually did everything in his power, which wasn't much at all except shutting down airport travel, to try and stop the virus. But the media loves making him out as Hitler 2.0 while also trying to make him into the most incompetent dictator in history. It's no surprise this got traction among people, especially the anti-Trumpers.
What most wont say is that the US has know about this Virus since 2016, back when small pockets of cases were popping up here and there.
They labeled it a “Flu” outbreak.
