There are a few stories I could hare here, but there’s one I have in particular.
I’ve been known to have brain farts at the worst times, but there was one instance when it almost got me into real trouble.
When I was in sixth grade, I had a project due for both history and writing due on the same day. So I stayed up until at least eleven the night before finishing both and turned them in the next day. What I didn’t know is that I put them both in the wrong binders. I had no idea until my writing teacher looked at me like I was crazy and handed back my assignment. I explained the whole thing to her, and she luckily understood. My history teacher, however, thought I was playing some kind of joke on him and even sent me to the principal’s office.
Luckily, everything ended up somewhat working out, and my history teacher calmed down enough to understand. My best guess as to why he was so pissed is that something happened at his home the night before, and he took it out on me.
The moral of the story is, if you’re still awake at eleven o’clock at night doing a project, just take the -10%
