Hello there! (see what I did? Lol) Here is my review of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith! This. is. the. BEST. Star Wars movie EVER!!!! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! It has so much action and compelling storytelling that feels like a complete roller coaster ride! The high stakes, the emotion, the great characters, the setup, the dark atmosphere, EVERYTHING!! Seriously, this film is... A BOLD ONE! Haha! Let’s get right into it, shall we?

The characters: They were amazingly entertaining and fun to watch. Ewan McGregor did a much better job of portraying the sarcastic, humorous, trolling side of Obi-Wan Kenobi. That’s what I love most about him. I like the trolling and sarcastic Kenobi. Of course, his love and dedication in being a Jedi Knight was still in tact. Hayden Christensen once again rocked as Anakin Skywalker. Yeah, a lot of people hated that he was a whiny crybaby in these films especially this one. In my opinion, he was terrific in this movie. If they make another trilogy of Star Wars, I hope Hayden will be featured again as Anakin for a flashback or something. Please, dew it!

Of course, General Grievous is in this film. He is weaker than I expected. He is not a good version because (1) he barely does anything in this movie besides coughing and fighting Kenobi, (2) doesn’t do a good job being the secondary antagonist, (3) was easily defeated and killed off by Obi-Wan Kenobi, and (4) overall a cowardly, incompetent, and underpowered general. I consider this Grievous to be a different one from the REAL General Grievous of Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003). That Grievous was epic, threatening, intimidating, fearsome, and a total badass. Shame that neither ROTS Grievous nor TCW Grievous hold a candle to him. At least the original show revealed Mace Windu crushing Grievous’s chest with the Force which would explain why he coughs so much. Still, that doesn’t explain why he is no longer that feared warrior he once was.

Darth Sideous/Chancellor Palpatine was terrific as well. When you watch him in this film, you can easily tell that he is up to something and it’s no good at all. The way in which he manipulated and led Anakin astray from the good throughout the whole trilogy says a lot about his cunning, intelligence, and deceitful nature. Ian Mcdiarmid did an excellent job on portraying Sideous like that. Samuel L. Jackson was again great as Mace Windu, and Frank Oz did very well in voicing Yoda.

Lastly, Darth Vader is born at the end of this movie. Wow... from what I watched so far, The Clone Wars gave much more in-depth character for Anakin and how he slowly and gradually fell to the dark side. With that context, it makes this movie much more heartbreaking and moving. Mmm!!

The story: It was interesting, great, and amazingly well written. Unlike the two previous prequels, this is the movie that actually kept me intrigued and hooked throughout all of it. Not a single scene was cringeworthy or annoying. It was worth watching as it felt like a really good live-action Clone Wars Movie. The action scenes/fight choreography was fantastic because it actually looks like they know how to use lightsabers in a duel. The side characters were good, and some of them were funny like the droids. Most importantly, it is the most memorable and meme-worthy film out of them all. Change my mind! The CGI is awesome, the graphics are good, the jokes are funny, and the AnakinXPadme romance subplot is finally done well. That subplot was barely developed from the last two films, but here... it’s done right in my opinion. The heartbreak, the emotion, the betrayal... need I go on?

This ACTUALLY feels like a Star Wars movie. An 11/10 film that I would definitely rewatch over and over. So, this prequel trilogy has its ups and downs, but this film saves it from utter ruin. Thank you, George Lucas. This will make a fine addition to my collection... of favorites.

Peace.

The end and beginning.

Even though it's flawed, it's still pretty great movie and an epic conclusion to the Prequel Trlology.
