    The Best CMC Story

There's a series of six chapter books known as Ponyville Mysteries. I highly recommend them, and they even fit the Nightmare Night atmosphere! They have characters staring into the face of death, and lore, and an overarching plotline. It's the CMC at their best.

That's all I've got to say right now.

    A Confession...

I hadn't watched most of season 8 or any of season 9 until a few weeks ago, nor any of G5 until this week, due to horrible anxiety. (Yes, anxiety about watching a tv show I want to watch. My brain is messed up.) So in no particular order, I need to get out some thoughts.

    Spike's Magic

I'm watching through the show again, and noticed a lore thing that I thought was worth making note of. In Spike at Your Service (yes, that horrible episode where Spike is depicted as clumsy and incapable of things like cooking and cleaning that he's been shown to be skilled at in most other episodes), Spike has this personal "Spike the Dragon Code" card. But what's interesting is where it

    Isn't It Funny...

...When you're just looking at the latest stories, and suddenly there's a propagandist promotion of an extremist who advocates against democracy and openly admires the worst dictator in history in the description of what you naively thought was a shipping story?

...When an avowed Communist asks for money as though that isn't inherently hypocritical?

Why, Brain, Why?!? · 8:27pm Nov 23rd, 2012

I have a problem. This problem can only be solved if I can do at least 6 things at once. Part of this problem can be clearly seen on my user page, where I have a count going of how many stories I have marked to read later. Yes, that number is for stories, not chapters. In addition, I have several books and magazines piled up irl, which I really shoud get to, and audioplays I want to listen to, and about a dozen stories I want to write down, but can't find the time for. It doesn't help that I feel the need to browse the comments section of every chapter I read, and that there's this annoying thing called school that takes a good chunk of my time five days a week.

Okay, I think I shoud stop ranting now, for the good of my sanity. Now for the progress on my stories: I have a new one that is up in the fore now that I will attempt to please. Saying absolutly anything about it would be spoilers at this point. In addition, I am having great fun making timelines and family trees for my Doctor Whooves fic. O.k., One family tree. The Doo clan has fourteen named members and counting. (By the way, the surname Doo works like the surname Pond) Three of these are from the show/fandom (Ditzy, Dinky, and one who will not be specified because of plot), and the rest are O.C.s. And no, I have no plans to ship the Doctor (At the moment). I do have rather concrete plans for the first two companions, Ditzy and Dinky, both of whom will encompass several story arcs. I also have hazy plans for the third and fourth companions, who have names which shall not as of yet be revealed. This story will focus very much on the Doo clan, possibly moreso than the Doctor, though he shall also get his time. I need to go and write now.

May the bug-eyed aliens that will abduct you be only in want of a patner for tennis.
