George Orwell fought in the Spanish Civil War

“Early in life I have noticed that no event is ever correctly reported in a newspaper, but in Spain, for the first time, I saw newspaper reports which did not bear any relation to the facts, not even the relationship which is implied in an ordinary lie. I saw great battles reported where there had been no fighting, and complete silence where hundreds of men had been killed. I saw troops who

I also just learned that Jericho's cliffhanger ending from the tv

Brewin' Booze! · 5:06am Jul 22nd, 2020

So earlier this month I finally decided to jump in the brewing game and make my own alcohol.
I went with a cider, of course, since Hops in beer legit makes me sick.
Just last weekend I pulled my brew out of the fermentor, and bottled it. From what I sampled, it's missing something. That extra "zing" if you know what I mean. And it was kinda weak.
Next batch, I'm going to double ferment, and try adding some extra ingredients. Like honey to make what's called Cyser(technically it's a type of Mead, but booze is booze.); and Brown Sugar in another. Just to see what happens.
I've been wanting to brew my own drink for some time, and, well, we all learn to swim eventually right?
