Hey, guys! Here is my review of Captain America: Civil War. Okay, I’m gonna say this out loud... WE FINALLY HAVE A MOVIE THAT ACTUALLY ADDRESSES THE RECKLESSNESS OF SUPERHEROES IN CITIES!! I am serious when I say this! Of course, The Incredibles did this first, but I’m talking about a Marvel movie finally addressing this issue I always have with action movies in general. This is exactly what happens when superheroes carelessly save the cities from supervillains that ultimately results in civilian casualties. This movie truly was a blessing to watch and an another great midquel between Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avengers: Infinity War. Let’s talk about what I loved about it, shall we?

The characters: Our protagonists were written well, funny, and good. Their emotions and reactions to the dire situation they put themselves in were very realistic and moving. You can actually tell what was going through their minds and the intense conflict between our heroes. This is what makes an action movie really good. When you insert conflict between our heroes and have them go through struggles and trials of their character, you will have a great result in character development and growth. Iron Man/Tony Start was great as usual as well as Captain America/Steve Rogers. Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans once again did a fantastic job in their roles. Oh, and Black Panther is in this! He was awesome too. Good to see Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, Black Widow, Ant-Man, War Machine/James Rhodes, Falcon, Vision, Hawkeye, and Scarlet Witch. Speaking of whom, she was better in this movie than in Age of Ultron; they actually gave her more character growth and personality. I like that.

The villain: Oh my... gosh. Zemo was terrific in this movie. I don’t know if any of you guys noticed, but to a certain extent, he practically and indirectly helped Thanos win at the end of Infinity War. Think about it. He successfully broke up the Avengers (even though he wanted to have them kill each other), framed Bucky for the murder crimes, and killed his way to get what he wanted to accomplish his goal. So, by breaking them apart, the Avengers were unable to work together effectively when they went up against Thanos. That’s really brilliant and clever in my opinion. Don’t forget, guys... Mission Report: December 16, 1991!! Zemo wants it so bad! Anyway, he was a tragic and sympathetic villain for me. He was so intelligent and cautious in his ways. I actually felt bad for him that he lost his family due to the Avengers’ carelessness. But like what Black Panther said, vengeance has consumed him; vengeance has also consumed Black Panther after his father was killed, and the other Avengers were consumed by it too. Even though they somewhat made it up at the end but still broken apart, Zemo still won. Let that sink in...

Everything else: The story was really impressive and fascinating. This is arguably Batman vs Superman DONE RIGHT. After it was revealed to them the civilian casualties that were caused by them in the first Avengers movie, from the last movie, in the Winter Soldier movie, and in this movie, they got the message, and half of them felt guilty for what they had done. Wow, talk about division! The action scenes were terrific, the CGI was good, the soundtrack was great, and the tone was amazing. Again, I sympathized with Tony once it was revealed to him the death of his parents by the hands of Bucky while he was brainwashed. Do you guys think Tony was right in fighting Rogers for not telling him the truth about what happened since he knew? I personally think Tony was right in doing so. Even though he was brainwashed, Bucky is still responsible for what he horribly did to them. This is conflict done right.

Yep, this movie gets another 10/10. Awesome film and great to see. Any thoughts on this?

Peace.

Spider man was funny.

I've recently realized something. The only Marvel film that you haven't reviewed involving the late Chadwick Boseman was the Black Panther film.

When do you plan on doing so?
