And yet I see flaws now that I never realized were there. Things that, in hindsight, I want to say you could have prevented… and things I know you could have.
Still don't see it.
1) Nightmare Moon/Princess Luna. It was either a gamble and risk to her student or back to the Moon with Luna. Probaly not even that, because she COMPLETELY lost the Elements after banishing her sister. Before that she had half of the Elements, and only needed to force half of them to work. Now it was either slay her own little sister, who was lost to jealoucy.
2) Discord. He made them run around in clown wigs, he took control of Sun and Moon from them. He's CHAOS, he's ABOVE ALICORNS. WHAT could have been done there? Elements are with Twilight and her friends, so no choice but to send them.
3 ) Tirek. He couldn't be defeated by Alocorns or DISCORD. He stood above spirit of disharmony. Compress Alicorn Magic, put it into Twilight and hope that he doesn't find her.
4) Changeling envasion. Explain to me, who is apparently a dumbass, because I cannot see how Celestia could have SEEN the invasion from SPYES COMING. Explain to me how Alicorns or anyone could have seen it coming, and prepare for it. Until Chrysalis unmasked herself with promt of real Cadance - they never even knew what was happening!
