Well this is late.
After having more than enough time to think on it (as well as catch a break from life 
) I can safely say that My Little Pony: A New Generation was great! 
And here are my random thoughts:
Practiced some karaoke on my new amp, showed my brother Star Wars for the first time, watched the final episode of The Clone Wars, Domino's for dinner and finished off the day with a gin and tonic!
