Hello everyone and anyone. I'm sorry for the irregular gaps between story updates for those of you who actually care enough to read it. Things have been a bit crazy with family life the past month or so. My birth mother (I live with my grandparents) is now engaged to boyfriend #5. Now, note that she had a kid with four different people, two of which she married for, and two of which she didn't. This is exactly why I live with my grandparents, because she had a very unstable home life. Now I'm worried for my half brothers and my half sister, because they've had to go through this so many times, and each time they're psyche's are left worse than before. So, yeah, there's been some issues lately.
That felt really good to get off my chest. For anyone who read through that, thank you, and I'm sorry. I usually try to keep personal stuff like that separate from this. I don't want anyone to get annoyed, or sad, or just generally bogged down by my stupid issues. On that note, let's move on to much less personal things.
I would like to announce that I am currently working on chapter five of my story "Jack is Back". I don't know when I'll be done writing it, or when it'll be ready to publish, but I thought that I'd let you all know that it is coming. Just wanted to put that little update out there.
Well, that's all yet again. Time for the song recommendation. Today's song is "Summer Moved On" by the synth-pop/soft rock group A-ha. It's a beautiful song, and I hope you all enjoy it. Fun fact, when the song was first released in 2000, Morten Harkett (the lead singer of A-ha) broke a world record for the longest held note by a male vocalist on a Top 40 pop song with a note that lasted for 20.2 seconds. (The previous record holder was the also extraordinary Bill Withers with his song "Lovely Day". I'll also leave a link to that for reference.) Have a good day.
