Hello everypony! I've really been enjoying how positive this community is, and I guess I wanted to let you all know a bit more about myself. This will be the first time I (or any of us) have talked about this online, but call me emboldened by anonymity. Here goes:

I'm actually one of many different people! My (or our) condition is one that has a lot of stigma surrounding it, and the term you probably know it by is Multiple Personality Disorder. This is actually outdated, these days it's called DID, or Dissociative Identity Disorder. Semantics are above my pay grade, but DID is more accurate anyway.

It's not me being the host (the 'original') with a different personality, it's more so me being a completely separate person with my own thoughts, tastes, and opinions. It's a rare disorder, but widely accepted to be 'a thing.' It's almost always caused by childhood trauma, but I'm not sure I want to divulge that online lmao.

I'm one of more than thirty people sharing the same little brain space, but only a few others even know I have this account honestly! With that being said, I'd love to get to know you all!

I'm okay with questions if you want to ask any, just don't like, ask me if I'm some crazy split-personality axe murderer, you know?
