Knights of Equestria/One Dragon Ball Series Updates

Hey everyone, Golden Fang Ryu Shenron here... now, I'm sure some of you are wondering by now, what the hell happened to the updates that I had with Knights of Equestria and One Dragon Ball? I wanna take this time first to say that I am very sorry that I had suddenly stopped with the quicker than expected updates that I had been putting up a couple of months ago. Things like my college and my work at dominoes have really been grabbing my attention as of late and I hardly had any time to relax, and when I do, my brain and mind are just one big mush and I all I really wanna do is pass out on my bed and just sleep the nights, and even the days away. I am also suffering from a severe case of writer's block that I've been receiving by watching a bunch of cute, funny, creepy, and action-packed videos just to take my mind off of it for a while so I can fully recharge my mind for what I know will be an amazing series pair. That and...I kind of haven't been really keeping my word up with updates on the chapters, something that keeps slipping my mind no matter how many times I keep trying to remember that little detail. So I'm gonna try doing that once I'm able to get more updates on my stories so I can give anyone who's reading them a head start on them if they are following them or tracking them. Now, before I end this off, I just wanna get a few more things out there; mainly explanations and reassurances concerning my future updates and series that will, sooner or later, be appearing on this site.

Knights of Equestria - Book 1: War of Eternal Night, (now change to Battle of the Blood Moon Queen) is going through the process of a brand new rewrite; something that I had mentioned after putting in the prologue to that story that will eventually become a series. I was going better the second time I wrote it, but now that I'm writing it in a folkloric sense, I feel like it's going much, much better than it did the last couple of times. Although, I did put in some things that were the same from the last two versions in the new one to change them up a bit too and to help it be coagulated in a way to make it look like it's something between a mixture of the old and the new rewrites if that makes sense. Plus, I'm also getting new ideas from watching past movies, series, and anime that I haven't seen in a long time to help me really get into the flow of it. Hopefully, it'll still more once I'm able to get back into the grove if this one series that I've been making for the past two and a half years now, so there's that. After going over the last couple of rewrites, I can see just what I was missing and how I could make it so much better, which is why it took the initiative to do this final rewrite of it before moving onto the next part of the first series that I have saved away, along with the rest of the books in the Knights of Equestria series. It is going bettered better with each chapter, but just in case, I'm gonna look back over each of them before I continue on with the updates to the eventual completion of the story. Oh, and speaking of which, it is 49 chapters away from completion; I already have the rest of the chapters planned out and set, so I just need to edit them and form then in a way that till help them flow along with the rest of the first book of my first series. Don't know how long that's going to take me, but I will say, it will be worth the wait, and trust me when I say, you'll love it.

Now, moving onto my One Dragon Ball Arc Series... the first is of My Little Broly. Yeeeeeeah, I'm not even going to begin to go into just how high this story had skyrocketed in fame, likes, and bookshelves when I started it for the very first time. I mean, like, seriously, to those who had seen it...just wow! That went north extremely fast the moment I had put this story up and I was not expecting to get as many of the readers that I had gotten when I had posted it up. Now, at first, I was happy to have started what I know what going to be my most challenging series yet, but, as I looked back over the story after taking a break from it...I realize that I had rushed it just way too fast and was not very planned out from the beginning at all. I mean, I appreciate how everyone really liked it, especially the first version, and you all have my gratitude for that but...yeah, it just really was not going good looking back on it. So, I tried to rewrite it a couple more times, and, I got slightly better at it. But, just like the last time, I hit a roadblock and I just couldn't keep going anymore. So, as I took some time to think over what I was going wrong, I realized that I was stretching some scenes too short or too long, and I was repeating some scenes and appearances and personalities of characters that were already described, and that was turning off some of the readers. Not only that, I was having serious trouble trying to figure out what genres (blue tags) to put in, especially since I was only able to out three of them in. I wanted to make it a mixture of DBZ/One Piece, but I found myself not really be able to do that, especially since One Piece has a good dose of drama and humor to it; not saying that DBZ doesn't have that, but you guys know what I mean.

With that being said, I'm doing the same thing that I'm going with my Knights of Equestria series; looking at other fics and how they worked so well and watching different animes and T.V. shows that I believe will help me be able to get My Little Broly back to its former glory, just like with Knights of Equestria. Hopefully, this will help me, especially since I'm doing a story with two of some of the longest anime series that I have ever watched my entire life, and I feel like it will. The only thing that's really holding me back from getting through the entirety of the second chapter right now is figuring out how to start it off so I can get the part of Broly crash-landing on the island. Once I'm able to get passed that, I will be able to move on to the rest of the story, and, hopefully, rewrite it for the last time. Oh, and for all of you who saw the new beginnings of it, but were not able to find the story anymore because of my computer troubles, I apologize deeply to all of you. Again, I appreciate all the support you have given One Dragon Ball, and I will make sure that it doesn't go underpaid from this moment on...I hope you understand. But, as I said, it has really not been easy trying to start it off and flow that way I want it to...but, hopefully, this time, I will be able to rock on and finally get this story climbing back up for all DBZ/One Piece lovers so they can see it. Do not worry everyone, each of these stories will be continued, along with my other more lewd ones, and they will be completed. I'm not going to be one of those authors who leave their sorties incomplete and leave others waiting for nothing and leave them to believe the stories are dead. You guys have been so supportive of me for the short amount of time I've been here, especially when it concerns by novels. So the least I can do is give you all satisfying stories to read and enjoy to your heart's content. Oh, and before you ask, yes, I have the others stories for One Dragon Ball saved planned out...summary, genre, and title wise at least. All I need to is type their chapters out, and I should be good to go for each...but for now, we'll be sticking all the way to square one. Hopefully for the final time!
