It's interesting just how someone can go their whole life with no problems and suddenly learn that they've needed something for the majority of their life.
I've never really been near sighted or farsighted, but as I've gotten older I found my vision getting more blurry.
Growing up the eye exams I took were to make sure I could see at normal distances, which was alright. Still is as I can recognize everything but letters and fine details from any distance.
But the test I took the other day said I have astigmatism in both eyes, worse in my left eye (I think) and from what I learned I should have been wearing glasses my whole life. Now I'm so used to my sight as was that everything looks skewed and off kilter when wearing my glasses. And sharp. My vision is now HD and I never realized real life looked like this. Even before my vision got blurry it never looked this sharp. And I'm not hunched over my computer when I write.
Just sharing how amazed I am at the difference in my vision.
Yeah same thing happened to my brother lol

Yeah.
Nobody ever thought that I might need them, but when measuring something with that machine they put against your face the optometrist realized that was mostly because I was so used to it.
