I place no faith in any awards shows. I was just a bit surprised that one person took home 30% of the awards. Lizzo was next up with 15%.

Grammys this year and last year turned out better than I expected. The previous ones were trash. They're all biased towards commercially successful material and the same overrated artists. There are artists out there who create music as a form of art and whose works receive critical acclaim but are overlooked by the masses because of their unconventional/experimental approach.
