So for those bamboozled why I cancelled EG:DM; I saw so many issues with deck and duel choices that they would render me having to rewrite multiple chapters and drastically change a subplot in the first arc to make it work again. That and one choice would have me ripping off a similar project being worked on by a friend of mine (in which I am one of the artists), I just don't see reason to continue anymore.

The main dilemma? Deck ratios:

I wanted six of the Main Seven to balance out like this:

2 Fusion
2 Xyz
2 Synchro

while Sunset uses Pendulums. Problem here is mainly with Applejack: I can't find an archetype that suits her. She's meant to be the strong, forward type, so in retrospect Sylvans don't really work in that regard. I considered Rose Dragons, due to Rose Lover, but roses don't really coincide with her. I considered Karakuri, since she herself is a farmer and laborer, and Karakuri are derived partially off Japanese laborers in the form of wooden gearworks robots, which one could view as both laborers and tools. Problem is Karakuri are pretty complex in mechanics and not all that powerful. The only Fusion archetype I can see her use is Ancient Gears, but said friend has given her those, and I don't wanna rip him off.

Well I'm wish I'm could help you on it or something

Noooo :fluttershbad:

I thoroughly enjoyed your work while it lasted!

You could use plant princess/ dandy warrior
And if you going to go for a 2/2/2

AJ - dandy warrior, plant princess or if you want yo go full on Naturia (synchro)
Rarity - Lunalight (fusion)
Pinkie Pie - Fluffal/Frightfur (fusion)
Rainbow - Heroic (Xyz)
Twilight - Spellbook (Xyz)
Fluttershy - Beast Synchro
