I have a feeling that YouTube Rewind 2019 will be just as worse as 2018. · 7:29am Nov 27th, 2019
The YouTube community is growing continuously and it would be impossible to fit all YouTubers in one video.
Last year's Rewind is currently the #1 most disliked YouTube video. People are upset that PewDiePie never appeared in the past 2 Rewinds and I'm pretty sure they would be more upset if he doesn't appear in the upcoming Rewind.
Other reasons why it's disliked a lot are unpopular YouTubers, lack of tributes to deaths of famous people, oversaturation of Fortnite, lack of variety in references, preachy campfire scene about mental health, inaccurate representation of ASMR, etc.
It just fills me with worry and anxiety for the outcome of YouTube Rewind 2019. If it ends up becoming a disastrous trainwreck, I'd rather stick to Google's Year In Search series.
YouTube doesn't understand or care about its community; just remember the Adpocalypse of 2016, the upcoming Coppa, Google+ being forced on people.... They've completely sold out to corporations, taking the You out of YouTube, and continue to slam am excess of ads on everything, promote the most normie stuff possible, and are trying to be a replacement television.
I expect it to be horrible, but really all I care about is whether smaller channels survive.

That's just really scary. YouTube is turning into a dystopia by implementing demonetization on more videos that don't even contain swearing, as well as severely limiting freedom of speech.
I fear for the MLP fanmade content creators that may get affected from all this.
I would expect that FBE will have an episode of YouTubers React to the upcoming COPPA and its negative impact on the platform.
