My Raridash story, Fire, shouldn't take too much longer to be released. · 10:28pm Nov 6th, 2019
Rarity quickly dropped the innocent act. “I suppose I really should fill you in on the details. To make a long story short, Fancy Pants has decided to set up a little fashion competition in Manehatten, and he personally invited me to join. However, there is one small caveat: the designers have to get their own model. He believed us choosing a model that symbolized our fashion philosophies, would be an extra little challenge, and would add some more variety to the show beyond the run of the mill models normally used for such events. Now, I'm not always a fan of Fancy Pants' whims of fancy, but I can't turn down the chance for some local exposure after just opening a new boutique there. Hold still.” Rarity pulled a group of different colored squares of fabric and held them up again Rainbow's side. “No. No. No. Oh, fuchsia. That might work.”
“Woah, woah, woah. Why me?” Rainbow stepped away from Rarity, her face becoming a mix of surprise and confusion. “Can't you take, I don't know, Fluttershy? That weird mare with the camera seemed to think that Fluttershy had the right look for it.”
“Fluttershy may have gotten better at handling social pressures, but I'd rather not stick her in front of the tenacious Manehatten media. That seems like a recipe for disaster.”
“Okay, so no Fluttershy. How about Twilight? Wouldn't having a princess modeling for you be like automatically winning?”
“She’s visiting family in the Crystal Empire. Besides, using royal connections would taint my victory. I want to win this fair and square.”
“Ugh. Then can't you get Pinkie Pie or Appleja...” Rainbow's voice trailed off in the face of a deadpan stare from Rarity. “Yeah, I see your point.”
It'll likely be three chapters for the main story with the possibility of some slice of life chapters afterward.
