    Badass Twilight AUs and Prompts

After watching the EGG Holiday specials, I came up with this one.
    Girls in Shades
Short Summary: 7 girls, 7 shades, and 1 heist of the century.
They would be humans in this story.

My Beginning · 3:54pm Oct 27th, 2019

It's the end of a decade or more of MLP:FiM, but I can't bear to see it go. So maybe instead of crying about the end, I'll start from the beginning. The beginning of a true tale with me and My Little Pony.

The story of how I stumbled, tumbled, smashed, and tripped into My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, is a very peculiar one indeed. I remember how everyone mocked it with words like 'for girls' and 'stupid'. Way back then, I did not have a lot of time to watch TV or Youtube. Every week, I watched one episode of Wild Kratts and Fairy Tail. Along with my personal preferences of not trying anything new and no time on my hands, watching My Little Pony just didn't really happen.

The first time I remember watching 'My Little Pony' (back then I didn't know that I was watching MLP) was when I stumbled into a store perchance, some kid's clothing shop at the mall I think, and saw a purple thing getting mail. Now, this purple character seemed really happy to get mail, going so far as to yank it from a smaller purple lizard thing. The only thing memorable about the thing was some pink pony getting a discount on what looked like really used patio furniture.

I had a good laugh and stored it away into the depths of my mind.

It wasn't until I was at a friend's house did I watch my first complete episodes of My Little Pony. This time, I had asked my friend for some kid shows to watch because the younger kids at the party couldn't really watch the shows we did. And so, my friend scrolled through the Netflix shows for kids and showed me the esteemed, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I agreed, I mean. It fit the criteria of a kid's show. I didn't know how it would change my life.

The episodes were The Return of Harmony part 1 and part 2. So I sat with the little kids and watched with them. My younger sister hung to me for dear life when Discord started wreaking havoc. We watched as the colorful ponies became, well not-so colorful anymore. However the purple pony soon remembered to "fight for their friendship" and the turning point of the whole war happened in those crucial moments.

Twilight gave up, and then bucked giving up to try it again. To fight for friendship, even if it was hard to fight for but always worth it. She prevailed in the faces of doubt and chaos. Shooting Rainbow lasers is quite a climatic ending too.

At the end, when the credits rolled in, my brain furiously tried to comprehend what I had seen.

1. It was AWESOME
2. I felt satisfied. It reminded me that there was good in the world.
3. It made my heart melt.

So I did what any person would do. Watch more.
