    State of the Fusion 2019

So now for my 6 hour late state of the Fusion post.

This was a real up and down year. My social status is unchanged . Probably for the best as both my work schedule and my total lack of a desire for children at my age(To say nothing of my lack of real social skills if i'm really honest) means i'm just way behind on the curve of desirability for anyone.

I didn't find the show so much as I stumbled across it.

I was just getting off of work and the Hub was showing reruns of Batman:TAS at 4 and I had it on as background noise as I websurfed to decompress. Then "Owl's well that ends Well" came on and it caught my attention. The show grabbed me and it became my favorite animated series of the '2010s' and I feel msyelf feeling very maudlen. I thought I was ready to say good bye to the official canon and now that its here well.... I don't want them to go. I know it's silly and I'm not entirely happy with what they did but I can't help how I feel. I'm glad that overall I loved the ending and that my prefered ship (Mature Spike/Rarity) didn't get sunk.

I'm glad for the friends I made from loving the show even if I don't see them as much as I'd like.

I'm glad I found this show that reminded me so much of the good in life and it's anti-cynicism much like my second fav animated series of the decade Phineas and Ferb.

I'm glad I found some minor place on this message board from this show.

I'm sad it's over... but I'm so glad for what it's brought me.

Thank you to the staff of the show
Thank you to Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Spike and Twilight Sparkle.

This isn't the end of my fandom, hell I love fanfiction so much there is no way it would be.

All hail Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Yes I must say I certainly felt a little something when I watched the book close. I am looking forward to what some of our talented writers can come up with based on post series finale. I love the creativity some of these fine people have made.
