Writing Update (Undertale x MLP/EQG stories)

Hello folks, I still exist and I do not have any plans to abandon either of my UndertalexMLP Stories. I have however continued to be effectively in a general writers funk these last few months. A project I did start I've basically lost all interest in and I've also not been able to get myself to write anything really except a short blurb for something I might do something with and has a decent

Have to put cat to sleep.

In a few hours, I have to head off and put our only cat we have left now to sleep. It is something I wish we could have prevented and done more for, but if we don't want him to suffer, it is what we must do.

    Status Update

Finishing my recovery from a gallbladder removal surgery nearly two weeks ago, I got a chapter for an ASOIAF story I'm working on done. Motivation to write has been very hit and miss and all over the bloody place.

    AD,PotN Update

Current chapter, It's up to page 13, and I've been slowly working it towards its endpoint. I think, at most, it's got another 3-5 pages left. Been having trouble writing though, motivation's been down for well, just about anything which means I'm in a funk again (wheeeeee) but once its done, I can start working on the chapter for Hopes and Dreams at Canterlot High.

Belated Progress Report 11/13/2012 · 1:35pm Nov 13th, 2012

TCB: The Great Equestrian Panic-
Status of story: In-Complete
Status of next Chapter: In Progress
word count 1332
ETC: within 14 days

A Jewel of a Problem-
Status of story: On Hiatus
Expected Hiatus time: 2-3 weeks
Status of next Chapter: In Progress
word count is estimating at 550-625
ETC: 2 months

Progress on this has gotten....interesting I'll put it down to. To be honest I haven't been in much of a writing mood to begin with, its why TCB TGEP's next chapter is taking time to complete, but a recent...incident, I'll call it, has made me have little desire as of this hour to touch the story. I will unfortunately not divulge any details about it, its something I hope to solve on my own, and hope that one way or another I can gain an interest in working on the story again. Perhaps after I've calmed down I'll revise the status change, but for now I'm switching it to On Hiatus for safety's sake.

One way or another, at the very least, I will get the story finished, even if it requires me to cut down on some things and scale it back a bit.

For fans of Generosity- I am officially putting this story up for adoption. Please pay attention to the bit below.

I don't think I'm going to be getting to this story any time soon, and I mean any time soon. My interest in it is zilch, and more importantly I don't know what to have happen next in the story. So, rather than let it languish, I am willing to put it up for adoption. I'm not sure how I can do that in the literal sense, but I'll figure it out. Once I find someone whose interested in taking it up I'll see if an admin or mod can swap it over to the new author, or something.

If you wish to adopt the story, you must send to me a brief outline describing what direction you'd take the story, as well as a sample of what you would think would occur in the next chapter. The outline needn't be more than a third or a half of a page, and the sample thingy can be up to two pages if your in a writing mood.

I know that this might upset some of you, and I apologize for that, but at least I am looking for a way to ensure it lives rather than dies.

As a precaution, I am not going to divulge the details of the 'incident'. Suffice to say that at the moment, I have no interest in working on the next chapter of A Jewel of a Problem. While I do not intend to let it die, at the moment I am not working on it.

Too say I'm in a relatively bad mood would be a bit of an understatement.

As for your 500779 In regards to what? If its what I think it may be, kindly get the rut over it.

*kindly reminder that I am in no mood for shit today*

EDIT: Ah yes, I knew there was a reason I recognized the user name.

So yes, please kindly refrain from any sort of shitstorm whatsoever. I am in no mood for whatever possible shit you could throw up. A warning now that if you do, I will delete your comments.

And for any AJOAP fans, no, the above in reference to Lynked is not the 'incident' I am speaking of. My problem with him is something that occurred a little over a month ago.

If you recall how our PM's went, they were not friendly. at the end, and to be honest in hindsight I don't even consider the first one friendly. And as for Generosity, I never said it wouldn't be put up for people to take at a future date I said that at the time, it wasn't and that jumping to conclusions that it was or was on hiatus and even thinking you might just take it off me was an utterly stupid thing to do.

Now, if you are still interested, follow the above in the blog post and I will give it due consideration. While I may not like the fact that you basically seemed to be hoping the story was up for grabs, I will not deny someone who is at least interested in seeing it finished the oppurtunity to do such.

After some thought, I decided that I should have let this go. Not to say that we weren't both in the wrong; we were. But either way, good luck on the progress. I bid you ado.

i'm glad to see an author work to allow one of his story's to move to another authors ownership in stead of letting it die. bravo dear sir and i look forward to more of your work
