Let me tell you a story... · 8:49pm Nov 12th, 2012
Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a man who wanted to write a story. This man was very stupid, because he'd never written a story before and had no idea of the work involved in writing a story, but he wanted to do it anyway, so he began to write the first bit of the story with blissful ignorance of the pain and suffering that was to come.
Somehow, this man managed to write the first bit of the story, and he decided to put it up on a website in order to see what people thought of it, although since it was his first story he didn't think anyone would really notice it, and perhaps a small part of him didn't want it to be noticed. And then some people did notice it, and the people said that it was quite promising and that they were looking forward to the rest of the story, and that made the man quite pleased.
And then the man suddenly realised that he would have to write the rest of the story, and panicked because that would mean he'd have to go through all the pain and suffering of writing the first bit of the story all over again for even longer. So instead of writing the next part of the story, the man locked himself in a cupboard for three months with his fingers in his ears, and with only a packet of Bourbon biscuits for sustenance.
But that didn't help, because despite all the disaster he'd faced when writing the first part of the story, the man couldn't help thinking of how much he'd really wanted to write the story a long time ago.
So he came out of the cupboard, and wrote the next part of the story.
And here it is.
