The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Thoughts

WHY HAVEN’T I PLAYED THIS GAME BEFORE???

Didn’t expect to see me again after so long, huh? Well, anyways, I recently started playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and...IT’S AMAZING!!!

Where do I even begin? I’ve known the lore behind the Zelda games all this time, but I never really played any of the games because it was really hard for me to choose one. So what better way to get into the series than playing the most recent one released, Breath of the Wild? It’s only my first Zelda game and I’m immediately blown away by the open-world exploration/survival, the visuals, the story, the characters, the combat, and music!

I haven’t even finished the game yet, but I can already tell what’s my absolute favorite part, and that would be traveling all over Hyrule. Even though there is Fast Travel, it’s more breathtaking and exciting to see Link travel either by land, sea, or air. Getting lost is pretty common in Zelda games, but thanks to the Sheikah Slate, you can pretty much go anywhere you want. The only minor complaint I have really is that the game does start off really slow, but since Link lost his memories, it makes sense for him start off from scratch.
