The Vent Episode 2 ~ I gotta keep my commitments I guess. (Yes, story tags, because nobody read the last one.)

God... Schedules...

I have a very bad relationship with schedules. I suppose you've figured that out but not to the right extent. I got Skyrim 3 monts ago. I never know my house's schedule. One minute I think I'm sitting in my bed thinking about when I'm going to release the next episode of a certain blog I'm trying to run, and then I'm sitting in a car crammed in the back seat with my brother and his big-ass (literally) girlfriend. I think you see my problem with schedules. Aaaaand...

Now for the anecdote.

Hmm... So, I'm trying this blog thing on this fanfiction website, you might know it. On the website I juggle about four or five fics, plus a collab and a few projects. Go check 'em out if you want to. Anyway, mi first fic I started i think March 2012. I have about 6-7 chapters on that, and the last one was posted 2 months back. If you check some of my previous blogs you'll find that I planned to release a chapter every week.

LOL. Nope. Then, I got bored. I wrote a one-shot ponified version of the song Killer Queen by the popular band Queen. Now, that was my most popular fic, and I got a few requests to change it. I decided to, and planned to release it by the next month. Once again, schedules fail me. I tried again after a long slump of writing about college staring contests and proof-reading for a fic I honestly didn't like. Now by that time the Second season had been over for two days. Changeling fics had been booming, but about one specific changeling, namely their queen. I thought it would be "fresh" and "hip" to write one about a basic hoofsoldier. So I did. And I was almost immedeatly overshadowed by Smoke and Mirrors, a very popular fic about a changeling who crashes in ponyville after the Royal Wedding. (Sweet pony Jesus I need to capitalize properly.) This is EXACTLY what happens to mine. I offered to integrate the stories, but the author refused. The second chapter was released a month ago.

Next, I tried my hoof on Sci-Fi, on a project I had been dabbling in for a while. Its WiP title was "Bloodmoon," but i decided to rename it "Away from home." Another project, still simmering, is closely tied to it. That was sort of popular, not really, but okay. A few people were really enthusiastic about it, and told me to keep it going, but the fourth or third chapter is still in utero. I feel the need to explain the basic plot, being one of my better ones. So, here's the intro because I don't want to type it out.

Nebula was born an Equestrian citizen, like any other pony. He grew up in Ponyville for the first few years of his life, and then things changed.

On March 17th, 2750 A.N.M (After Nightmare Moon), the first space shuttle was launched into orbit.

Only 10 years after, the first probe made it past the moon.

Soon enough, ponies were exploring the universe.

Nebula got a girlfriend, the daughter of a certain manager for SSA Productions, and was living good with his friends Baby Blue and RB, until he got Drafted for a research mission that was destined to never come back. Anywho, he takes off with Roy, Blue, Shine (His GF), and two newcomers, the fashion writer/complete snob Sapphire, and timid gardner green petal. That's all I can say without spoiling it, which I already did. That venture was truly a failure, yet I released a second chapter. Finally, my lowest ever point. Three's a Charm.

I made Three's a charm so terribly confusing that I can barely sort it out. I introduced a new PoV without warning, I added new characters, and even tried to ship my brother with Twi. It was horible. I cut it off there. I haven't released a chapter since 2 months after release, in may. I'm currently swishing a doctor who-esque fic around in my mouth just to see.

Now, everybody who reads this shit is probably in the collab, but if anyone isn't I'll tell you the jist. Me and about sixteen other bronies/pegasisters find ourselves in equestria after flying a plane into a storm. As we integrate ourselves into pony life, we have way too many scrapes for comfort. Also, we all swear a lot and hafe reasons to kill each other! Prepare your body for Rainbooms over Miami sometime not soon.
