My Smash Character Idea

Recently, a cool dude named Mythirl Moth posted a writing prompt for concocting a smash trailer of a character. I have little knowledge of the games, but I decided “Aw, Screw it!” And wrote this! Enjoy! Or don’t.

Start

The normal smash intro trailer plays and the camera opens on clouds. A figure plummets past the camera, before the camera starts following. It’s Mario, and he falls through the clouds, one after another, screaming all the way. Then, a city comes into view. There are only a few seconds of seeing large amounts of glittering brass and polished walkways before he hits the ground and the camera goes black. A second passes, before were looking through Mario’s perspective, he looks up at the clouds he fell through before a shadow passes behind them accompanied by a loud shriek.

Quickly he gets up and scrambles away from the shape, as the camera pulls out of his perspective, following him until he runs into a strange hook pole with a hook attached. There is a metallic grinding sound as metal connects with metal, then a man lands beside Mario. The camera only sees his legs and his back, before it pans up. The man turns to look at the camera, just as he puts a brass and wood shotgun on his shoulder.
