The events of Anon-a-Miss are a direct result of a Curse done to the pony Sunset Shimmer done by that world's Human Sunset Shimmer in an attempt to drive her to suicide, without bringing much effort on her part as she removes a threat to the Chesuncook Witch Coven's plans for North America and the world. This Sunset Shimmer is actually a mad witch that is a worshiper of Shub-Niggurath, and unlike her pony counterpart never once reverted or even considered reverting back into the body of a teenager. Arcanum Folklore being an almost forty year old Irish-American CIA Black Operations operative and former U.S.Army Rangers Veteran, has no choice but to hunt down and kill his worlds Sunset Shimmer, no matter how much he wishes he didn't have to. And with sorrow Folklore and the Sunset Shimmer from a world ruled by alien Equines, will go forth on a horrifying blood-soaked odyssey across the country, and across worlds and dimensions that will lead both him and the lady from another world to the realization of humanities ultimate fate.
