This is just a bit of a get a feel for it thing, to anyone who watches me if you feel this would be a good idea pleas post you username in the comments as a sort of signature, along with any comments on how you would word the request to the mods and the rule itself
Basicly want i want to propose is this, that the rule regarding use of stories written by others be amended with the following caviate
any published story not yet flagged complete, having not been edited in any meaningful way for a period of not less then one year, shall be made public any unpublished chapters view-able to the general public and anyone may if they so chose request to take up the mantel as co author and continue the story to its completion, such co authorship would be subject to approval by the site moderation and only available to authors who have completed at least one story [totaling not less then 10k words] showing that they have the dedication to see a project thru to its conclusion.
note that full credit will always be given to the original author for the concept, ideas, and characters presented and No permanent privilege would be transferred also in the cases where an author has been absent from the site for a period of not less then 2 years at which point as with individual stories the body of there works will be declared public, however all respects will be continued to be paid to the original author and any derivative works must mention and credit said author in a meaningful and upfront way in its forward facing description
if i get enough interest in this ill make an actual e petition and see about geting this passed to the admins, though if any admins see this and think its a good idea, feel free to go ahead with it in advance of that :)
