Really awful December

I've never written here before, but I need to get this out. My mom has been having issues with my husband since pretty much the month after he moved in with us. He has trouble doing tasks unless he's told what needs to be done. I don't know why, but I've been accommodating and patient since I have a few issues myself. She on the other hand, has absolutely zero patience or sympathy (which is sad because she works in the medical field directly with patients). Last night she exploded and disowned me. So my husband and I are starting to search for a place of our own. I'm really down right now because the holidays are supposed to be about family. I don't know what to do anymore.

Hang in there. Family issues are never easy to work through, and having these issues during the holidays makes it worse, without a doubt. Stay strong, and try to look for the good things in life.
