So this week I was randomly browsing TVTropes only to find out that Tatsurou announced as a possible story Silver Spoon in the world of SAO Abridged. When and where did he do that? That actually makes me even more hyped for SAO Abridged. If you haven't, go watch it. Episode 13 should be out on Youtube soon.
Now this episode of the actual SAO starts with the Kazuto club watching the events of the last episode. That's the whole scene. I'm not even sure Lisbeth said anything this whole episode, now that I think about it.
Anyways, Sinon tries to snipe Deathgun (I'll use DG from now on, because I'm sure I'll have to use this edgy name very often), but he just dodges the bullet. He then shoots the other guy with his Deathgun who then stands up only to fall back down because of an apparent heart attack and die in RL and disconnect. DG holds up his weapon and gives his evil speech towards the camera and why isn't Sinon shooting him again? And why does he calmly stand in the middle of the bridge when he knows someone's trying to shoot him?
Back in ALO, Asuna and Klein just from that speech realized DG is a Laughing Coffin member. If I was able to do the same logical leaps as these characters. Klein explains it's because he used a similar catchphrase as a prominent member, but ''It's Showtime'' is a bit too common in my opinion. He also gives a bit general exposition because Leafa is the only person in that room that wasn't in SAO.
Sinon decides to help Kirito in his quest to defeat DG. They can't see DG on the scan and figure he's underwater heading to the city. They're ambushed by a random player, but beat him together, because Kirito's able to block every shot out os a rifle. The duo realizes they still don't know DG's in-game nickname and ,because there're only two left, decide to go after the closer one with a japanese name I forgot.
What I didn't mention last time is that the german dub changed DG's nickname to Mortis to keep the secret. Why didn't I mention that? Because they didn't bother to change the text in the anime. And it's hard not to notice if it's literally the only thing written in roman letters. Just wanted to mention that.
With Sinon's never mentioned before Super Sight they spot the guy and plan to split up and ambush him from both sides. While she moves into position she thinks about how edgy she is and how she'll beat Kirito after this and of course she gets shot during that. From DG's last time mentioned never mentioned before paralyze shot. It also turns out DG has a never mentioned before Invisibility Cloak! Also also, DG's Deathgun turns out to be the same model as the gun of the robber she shot. And this suddenly causes her PTSD again. I think I already gave up to understand the PTSD in this anime. So instead I'll focus on how Sinon even knows what model that was years ago. She was a little child without any prior knowledge of guns. Did she just leaf through a gun magazine until she got a panic attack?
How come everyone suddenly these special abilities or equipment? Say about Fortnite what you want, it at least keeps every match fair, because everyone starts under the same conditions.
