Since season 9 is said to be the series Finale of MLP FIM a friend of mine on twitter suggested Chrysalis should come back and be reformed to the series finale and I gave him my idea.
What if Chrysalis finds a Crystal that holds Sombra's spirit(A back-up for Sombra just in case the plain in the season 3 opening failed), Chrysalis then breaks it releasing Sombra and season 9 we have two Villains working together because Chrysalis knows where the Elements are, she tells Sombra and since he's a very powerful Unicorn what better way to show that then have Sombra be able to fill the Elements with enough darkness, to where the villains can actually get them.
The grand plan of the two can be perfecting the Evil Clones of the mane 6 and by having Sombra able to get the Elements, these evil clones are able to use them against the Good Mane 6. I feel like this should be a 4 parter instead of 2. That way Sombra and Chrysalis can actually win in the beginning and gain control. Then we see the Mane 6 seriously on there heels by losing control of the balance of power and have to spend the last two episodes of a 4 parter like this to claw back and win
Wonder how things go for Spike and Princess Luna there?
What do you think on what the actual season 9 was?

I don't like that Sunset wasn't mentioned. I know it's the main series. However she is from equestria and maybe being told "Hey Equestria there's a war happening." would've been a thing for Twilight to do.
