Highly Displeased with Google Chrome · 1:02pm Sep 13th, 2018
Today I found that Google Chrome has changed its layout again without so much as a by-your-leave. It so happens that, recently, I also heard of an autistic child who's health problems provoked a company to go out of its way to restart an old product. As such, I've come to the conclusion that Google is discriminating against the autistic community and have set-up a petition for ISPs to consider the autistic mind-set when they make some silly redesigns.
If anyone here can be said to accept this statement, the petition can be found here.
I know that Google recently updated Gmail and Gdrive. The new interface is slow as all hell. But I've been using Chrome for a while now and haven't seen any noticeable change in the layout. I've been using one of the downloadable themes though. Perhaps that protects me, if it's just cosmetic. What change in particular has annoyed you? Chances are you may be able to download a theme that restores the Chrome browser to what you're familiar with.

The use of a plus sign for a new tab and the 'most used' shortcuts no longer containing a square screenshot of the website in question.
Yeah, I din't have either of those things on my current version. I'm currently using the Morpheon Dark theme, which, as you may surmise, makes everything black instead of that garish grey and white. Failing that, if you're feeling confident, you could take a look at the program files and try to remove the update file, that would most likely cause Chrome to revert at the cost of features and some security. Try googling to see if anyone knows how to undo the cosmetic changes.
