Where I've Been and What's Happening. · 3:38pm Sep 5th, 2018
Hey everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read this post as well as continuing to read my stories. I really do appreciate it
As the days continued to pass by I've gotten more and more messages wondering about my where about's. As well as when I'll be able to update more on "The Hearth's Warming Surprise". First off, I just want to tell you all how extremely, VERY sorry I am about not only updating the story but also not letting you all know about what I've been doing sooner. You all deserve to know now finally rather than later.
A LOT has happened to me since the last time I updated the story. For those who don't know I'm currently in college right now. The problem is that because I was stupid enough to not take it REALLY seriously last year like I should have, it's lead me to be in a more stressful situation right now. In other words, I didn't take as many classes as I should have last year, which has lead me to be in the most clutch situation of my life right now.
So far this year I had to take 5 classes in the spring, 4 in the summer and another 5 right now this fall in order to graduate this December. Not only that, but I can't afford to stay in my college town any more since my lease at my apartment will be up by this December as well. From the beginning of this year I knew I'd be put in this clutch situation and that if I didn't pass only one of these classes then the whole plan would collapse. Then I'd move back with my parents. I COULD NOT LET THAT HAPPEN. I still can't let that happen.
I hope ya'll understand how taking and having to pass all these classes has taken it's toll on me. Especially during the summer where I had to learn an entire semester's worth of material condensed into one month for each class (2 classes in June. 2 in July). It all doesn't really help that historically I've been a C's and B's student, so I've had to put in the extra effort to make sure I didn't fail ANY.
The stress has just gotten me to the point where my writing has kind of stalled. I just didn't anticipate how busy I'd be when summer began. I like writing, I really do. Especially if it means I get to hear ya'll get to say what you think about it. Even though it is fun when I get into it, at the same time I take writing VERY seriously by always wanting to continually improve upon it. And that takes time, a lot of dedication, a lot of patience, and most importantly for me, taking control of my emotions by finding the right balance for it when I'm writing. I REALLY believe that last one is key to getting my writing to come out in the right way. Unfortunately, this year has put a huge dent in that mindset, which has stalled my writing.
I hope that explains my absence. If I am on here it's because I'm reading other things or it's simply because I like to keep the tab open on my computer just cause.
What does this mean for Hearth's Surprise? Well, since I'm ALMOST at the finish line to graduate, I'm going to be honest, I REALLY don't want anything to get in the way of that. I can't afford to. Literally. So, I'm sorry to say, but I don't think you'll see another update until December at the earliest since that's when I'll be done. It seriously kills me to just type that right now
I really am sorry everyone. If I took college a little more seriously last year than I don't think I'd be in this situation. And it's you guys that are paying the price. And for that I sincerely apologize to you all. I just hope you all understand.
Thank you for taking the time to read my excuses. I hope to make it up to ya'll someday.
But for now, God bless.
Wellp, life comes first so it’s more than understandable for me ( I remember my college days....) Best of luck to you in beating the crap outta college, and looking forward to when the next chapter drops

Take your time man. As a college student myself, I understand. Take care, and I'm looking forward to the next update whenever that may be.
It’s definitely been more than a year. I hope you’re doing alright, man.
