The blog I doubt anyone will read or care about

Just had to post this because It's something that happened earlier this year... maybe late last year, and it still bugs me to no end. There was once a story posted on this site that I found and really enjoyed reading the few chapters it had, unfortunately the story was taken down. According to the author (whom I lost the name of), said the story was taken down because the story didn't relate to MLP. I hope that not to be the true reasoning, but after a long time searching for any hint of the story's existence, it seems the most logical excuse. The story was completely wiped from existence and if I recall correctly, it hadn't even made it to 5 chapters in yet. What really bugs me is that the story, though not specifically about ponies (yet, as the author mentioned they would be playing a role in the story) was taken down, supposedly for being about griffons... what is wrong with that? The website is FIMFiction.net "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Fanfiction", griffons are a major race in the MLP franchise and the story was taken down for not containing ponies yet. If this was the true reason, then the site should really change names to Ponyfiction.net, because the other races/kingdoms in the series apparently aren't included. If anyone is curious, I believe the story was called "A royal prince" or "Free that Griffon" as the only thing left I have to remember the story by is a bookmarked page that leads nowhere, has no archives, and is listed seemingly nowhere else on all of the internet.
