The Vent ~ Blog #1 ~ Projects (Sorry for story tags, but try it) · 3:49am Oct 31st, 2012
Hello, and welcome to The Vent. This is a new regular, once-a week blog post series, in which I will discuss fanfics to homework to friends to books, and most of all venting frustration. So sit down and get ready for a crash-course in listening skills.
So, as most of my current followers probably know by now, I am currently in the seventh grade, one of the hardest grades. You lack the innocence of elementary, you have all the douches and bitches of real life, and you get enough homework to feed 2 desperate undeveloped nations. The best part about seventh grade are projects, and even they suck. Your teacher tells you to do something that's due in 2 months or 3 weeks or 4 days or whatever, and you have to either work on it by yourself at home, work on it as a group in class, or fail the project. And I know for a fact that 90% of kids will say that they completed it over the alloted span of time, evenly spreading the workload, and that 30% of them are lying. It is almost a scientific principal that, when given a task to do, 40% of people will blow it off until the last 20% of the time given.
I am one of that 40%.
My science fair project lay lost and forgotten until last monday, when my mother got a notice about it. She asked me about it, and we sprung into action. We went and bought supplies, set it up, performed the experiment, and assembled my display in 1 week. Now we wait for friday to come around to display it at the school science fair.
That wraps it up for this very special first edition of The Vent. Thank you for reading, and I'll see ya next time for the epic conclusion of my story!
(Sorry if it seems kind of stupid or if the story is short, but I think having a regular blog might help me stay organized and stress-free. This will probably eat up a lot of story time, but I'll work it out somehow. Expect #2 on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.)
Yay! Venting! It helps keep a calm mind! However, it seems to do so by means of which I don't do... (anger release) I did the same last year in eighth grade with my science project! I only had three weeks to finish it, so I got to work and did the best I could! (which was barely an A)
