First Brony Con Experience · 3:42am Jul 30th, 2018
Hey There Guys!
Well I would like to start by saying English is not my first language so please excuse my grammar errors, also I am not a brony but don't have anything against you guys.
For those who I met at the con, I went by the name Dark Horse.
My good childhood friend Mad, I guess he goes by the name theRedBrony on these forums finally/successfully convinced me to take a trip out to Bronycon 2018
He has been trying for the past two or so years, and yes I was forced to watch two episodes of My Little Pony, the reward for watching was too yummy to refuse, mmmm Donuttttttt.
So we started our day off Thursday morning Mad drove over to my house along with another Brony ColdSpike who flew down from California to join in on the road trip, Awesome guy but can be a bit ....... "My Ass Hurts"
The Road trip was give or take 13 or so hours with frequent breaks, long trip but time flew by extremely fast, but damn the tolls are just another story they are a million of them especially in Pennsylvania.
Apparently, the rest stops in Ohio/PA are mandated to post signs outside of public restrooms to report Human Trafficking, which seemed quite awkward to all of us at first but I guess it's a real issue so it makes sense they are quite close to the ocean.
For Some reason, there were a million cops on the highway it almost seemed like driving on Saturday night when all the drunks are out on the expressway. Thank god for Waze app for informing us about cops head, I am sure It saved our asses plenty of times from speeding tickets.
My work requires me to on call at any given point of time between the hours of 8 am and midnight to aid my colleagues outside of my job description, so thanks to great technology of tethering I was able to work in the car, but the face these guys had is priceless when I told ColdSpike to pull over to retrieve my laptop from the trunk. 
So we finally reached Baltimore and I shit you not, As soon as we reached the vicinity of the convention it seemed like I entered the world of Equestria, which was not bad. At the same time, there seems to be a War going on among Bronies and the local's(Gang Bangers) on outnumbering each other. The city is fairly safe but we were often warned by some good Samaritans not to head to X area, and to be careful of the Hats we were wearing outside the con .
So I'll get to what I thought about the Con, Simple it was boring and crappy as shit. Most of the panels were just mediocre but the people visiting the con were really awesome.
The writer's lounge seemed to be the best area to hang out but the con folks kept on hijacking the area and putting random shit there
Some had quite Interesting Costumes and the party by Trick Question (sp) was awesome.
Everyone at the party was fun and full of energy, drunk yes but nothing too bad. I guess I was the only one who doesn't drink but I didn't see anyone really doing anything Outrageously stupid but did see some people pass out on the sofa's/floor so nothing abnormal than other parties I guess. We did get a few warning from the hotel that we were too loud but I think that can be expected and hotels folks understand.
