So, this story has been mostly completed since November, and my biggest issue was coming up with a title. Months later with nothing to show, I finally decided to come up with any name, so I just borrowed a lyric from an Alestorm song. There are no pirates in this story, but I do like pirates and it's possible they'll show up in the future.
As for the story itself, I really like this one. It's a bit early for me to call it my best work, but I wanted to make this one different. I wanted to write about ideas and themes, so there's a lot about identity, sex, and internalized stigma, just to name a few. I hope you guys like it as much as I do.
As for what's to come from me? I haven't felt like writing all that much lately, but at the very least I would like to finish the rewrite of my Gatsby parody, because it's been like, 4 years since the writeoff that I entered it into, and some of the jokes are really good. It'll happen, I promise.
