What is to come... · 4:19am Oct 26th, 2012
As many of you may already know I'm already busy with many different fics. I have probably done the worst thing possible and over dedicated myself to 5 different stories with exams coming up. As you can see I am an idiot, but I'm an idiot with an idea.
So some sorting out is required:
-The Curious Adventure of Nicholas Cage will still be continued for an expected 5 chapters but wont be updated for another couple of weeks.
-Of Kindness and Loyalty takes along time to write so don't expect an update till December (sorry but I have priorities).
-Doctor Whooves (revisited) is on Hiatus so don't expect any updates till January.
-Fall of Equestria was written purely because I felt like it and wont be updated at an stage.
-New Years Eve will receive weekly updates on the weekend as planned. The final chapter wont be posted till, you guessed it, new years eve.
And that's the plan, but since I'm crazy, I decided to write another fic. And before you ask, it's already finished, I just wont be posting it all at once. But since you guys are just so awesome I thought I would just throw in a little spoiler. So, SPOILER WARNING!
Across the fields of dirt and sand, the soldiers were dead silent. Not a whisper could be made out as all listened eagerly to the soldier who addressed them. The yellow Pegasus was by no means a strong warrior, nor was she of noble birth. The young Pansy was but a soldier amongst the rest but now she stood to speak to her fellow ponies. She was still clad in her bronze armour but it had been dulled after relentless of war. Her eye was lost in battle and yet she still lived to return to the city. The ranks of Cloudsdale were silent as the young mare recounted the deeds that had taken place upon the sands of their country. She spoke with a sorrowful tone but one still full of purpose.
"And so my commander died, and my brothers and sisters died, barely a year ago. Long I pondered my commander's cryptic talk of victory. Time has proven him wise, for from free Pony to free Pony, the word was spread that bold Commander Hurricane and his three hundred, so far from home, laid down their lives. Not just for Cloudsdale, but for all Equestria and the promise this country holds."
Pansy seized her spear from the soldier next to her and raised it in salute towards the crowd.
"Now, here on this ragged patch of earth called Ponytaea, the Changeling Queen Xerxes's hordes face obliteration!"
In unison the crowd cried in response. "HA-OOH!" The sound echoing down across the fields.
"Just there the swarms huddle, sheer terror gripping tight their hearts with icy fingers... knowing full well what merciless horrors they suffered at the swords and spears of three hundred. Yet they stare now across the plain at ten thousand Pegasi commanding thirty thousand free ponies! HA-OOH!"
The crowd cheered again, this time with such a volume it rung down towards the hills. "HA-OOH! HA-OOH! HA-OOH! "
"The enemy outnumber us a paltry three to one, good odds for any pony. This day we rescue a world from mysticism and tyranny and usher in a future brighter than anything we can imagine."
The yellow mare put on the helm of the fallen Commander Hurricane. She hefted her heavy shield to her arm and raised her spear once again in the direction of the Changeling hordes. The sun begun to creep back over the dry mountains, illuminating the battle field with a yellow glow. The hearts of all the soldiers rose with hope.
"Give thanks, ponies, to Commander Hurricane and the brave 300! TO VICTORY!"
Five stories at once?! You're crazy! ...hey, you said it first. I need to get started with my Elm Street sequel, hnnnnnng!
Five stories?! That's my style!
