The Anon-a-Miss Incident, and Why It Makes Me So Peeved. · 11:48am Mar 19th, 2018
That's right, another post from me not related to stories. Today, I am talking about the Anon-a-Miss incident.
The best part of that comic was Sunset Shimner. Isn't she the best part of anything? Well, yes. The second best thing was Twi, and her encouragement.
But, then there is what I hate. Sunset's friends, the Humane 5, turning against her. In part, due to the timing of it all. It happens after Rainbow Rocks, in which Sunset used the magic of friendship. No faker could have done that. Her moment under the stage was a big one.
But, the fact that the Humane 5 fell for the same trick... again. They never talk it out, they just see social media and assume truth. Not everything on the internet is true, and that's what tore you girls apart the first time. Get some physical communication. Not that social media is bad. It's great, but, unfortunately, it can be used for wrong, like anything else.
Also, knowing the old Sunset, the Humane 5 should know that Sunset would not make it that obvious and would never put her own sillouette on the page. What sort of idiot would do that? Not Sunset Shimmer, that's for sure. The fact that the friendship is broken so easily is what peeves me, and is the source of all my complaints against it.
The way the antagonists were handled, I liked. The CMC had motive, and when they truly saw the negative effects, they stepped forward, and they got a hefty punishment, too.
Overall I'd give it a 6/10.
Honestly, Forgotten Friendship handled the breaking of bonds better, while showing the same determination from Sunset. Similar idea, handled better.
Hmmm. That gives me an idea.
Well, until next time!
