As a matter of fact ponies in Equestria speak English in the show. So let them speak more improved and interesting English than people on Earth.
For example, they may have two more future tenses: distant future and improbable future. The distant future is used to describe something that a speaker doesn’t expect to see alive. Example: The sun wess stop someday. The improbable future is used when a speaker doesn’t expect something to happen at all. Example: Celestia weast be sent to sun.
They can have two more past tenses: distant past and improbable past. The rules are similar, the distant past is used for events that happened ages ago and the improbable past is used for anything that was impossible or improbable. Examples, the distant past: Equestria wore created. The improbable past: Discord wost created Equestria.
