FMF 32: 26 January 2018 (And Updates)

Thirty-three percent.
That's what percent of a calendar year I've been silent.
Well, not anymore.

I don't give up, because that's not who I am. And if it is, then it's not who I want to be, who I'm going to be. And the song I've selected (by Black Gryph0n and Baasik) for this FMF reflects that, starting with the title.

Movement is better than stagnation. Any movement. Any direction. "Would you believe that I've always wished I could be somepony else?/Yet I can't see what I need to do to be the pony I wanna be." Is there a difference between who you are and who you want to be? Then do something. Don't just sit there waiting for the ubiquitous "something" to happen. You don't do that; it's not who you are. And if it is, only you can change that. Friends can help, sure, but if you don't pursue change for yourself, you're going to stay stagnant and miserable. And it's your own fault for doing so.

(Dang. That's a paragraph even Lily Peet would be proud of. Can you guess whose videos I've been watching lately?)

Updates:

First off, fall has come and gone, and there's still no sign of History Reimagined. What happened? Everything fell apart like dominoes. First, real life got in the way. Then my schoolwork got in the way. Then the artist I was trying to get lined up for the cover art fell out of contact, and I had to do the art myself. Then discouragement set in. Then I had to get a winter job. Not to give excuses, but rather explanations. A History Lesson, if you will. (Ba dum ts!)

The good news is I'm all set to release the first chapter. It should go up tonight or tomorrow. If not then, look for it Tuesday; it'll be because I had to change something to get it approved. (Update: It's up!)

I was reminded of my collab/crossover when I updated the section below. I'll see about acquiring permission to publish to my own page when I can. I've pretty much got that one done already (at least Rainbow's part).
