Bronyleader66 Reviews: Magic, Magic Everywhere! · 5:26pm Jan 14th, 2018

Just this weekend I decided to put some effort into finishing Magic, Magic Everywhere by Perdita Finn, one of the books I got for my birthday, and all I'm going to say before I review it is that I regret every single second of it.

Let me be slightly more specific here. It sucked because of terrible writing along with a confusing plot.

The first issue comes at the very beginning when Starlight comes to the human world, which takes place in the third Equestria Girls special, while the Mane 7 are washing cars for Camp Everfree. I can't even manage to say in words how much this bothered me, I mean if you're going to write an adaption of the Equestria Girls, at least make it accurate! But no, Perdita Finn had to completely screw it up and make it almost impossible to understand!

But, unfortunately, that's not the only part of this that's completely screwed up.

The second issue with this story is that there was not a single part of this that I found entertaining. Yep, not a single word that made me feel like this book was worth reading, even though I miraculously finished this in a short 7 months! For a Perdita finn book, I feel like I should be patting myself in the back for reading it so fast!

The final issue with this entire book is that it basically destroys the need for one of these specials, as the Mane 7 don't really need to raise the money for Camp Everfree, as Canter Zoom agrees to pay for all of the repairs needed. So all of the first half of the book is completely and totally worthless with no relevance whatsoever.

Although there were mostly negatives for this entire book, there was one positive for me. You heard me right, one.

It's nice to have a book adaption of the specials around, even if it is really screwed up and the third special takes place during the first, which takes place during the second one. Yeah, I finally processed it completely.

I know this was a confusing review because of the fact that this was a really confusing book, but I hope you at least enjoyed this review and I promise the next one won't be as bad!

See you guys soon!
